Our Beech Dimensional Lumber is cut to exact sizes lists. These pieces are NOT nominal widths. These pieces are S4S machined milled (surfaced on all 4 sides cut to width and length).

Lengths: Sale of 2 feet required. * We can ship it in lengths up to 8 feet.
Customers can specify length requests in the order notes during checkout.

The color of Beech wood is a pinkish pale brown. The grain is straight  without much pattern to it. The texture is even and porous.

Beech Dimensional Lumber

Beech has heartwood that is like the sapwood making it hard to decipher. You can steam the whitish pale brown color to a darker red brown.  This lumber has a medium resistance to hand tools and not much blunting effect to cutters.
